German synthetic resin manufacturer Synthopol Chemie, headquartered in Buxtehude near Hamburg, is preparing to expand: its large-scale construction project “Halle 16” will significantly increase production capacity while its new, multilingual website, launched in April 2014, underscores the family-owned company’s global focus.
With an annual turnover of well over 100 million euros, Synthopol Chemie Germany is today one of Europe’s leading producers of synthetic resins. The company’s management now aims not only to consolidate this position, but to expand it further. The goal is to significantly increase production capacity from 2015, optimising delivery performance. This also requires upgrades to the current infrastructure, and work on these has been underway since 2013: raw materials logistics as well as electricity, thermal energy, coolant, nitrogen and oxygen reduced air supplies are being reorganised and the capacity of the thermal air purification system increased.
The new building towers above the others on the factory premises, and is expected to be
taken into operation in 2015.
From Buxtehude to the whole world
This increase in production is also taking place against the background of Synthopol’s intensified international expansion. The synthetic resin manufacturer is underlining its global course for growth with a new, refreshed communication strategy, above all in the form of its corporate website, relaunched in April 2014. The website offers customers and visitors information in a total of six languages and features a product filter providing simple and
intuitive access to Synthopol Chemie’s product range. The site also reflects the modern, customer-focused, globally operating mid-sized family business with personality.
